Hiking
The 7.5km KUDU ROUTE hugs the foot of the mountain and gives you a good workout and appreciation for our slice of the famous Bushveld.
For the more energetic you can hike our mountainous 6-11 km BLACK EAGLE ROUTE and enjoy the panoramic views towards Botswana and the Waterberg.
Lounge by the pool
Each lodge has its own private rock splash pool with a view of the Waterberg mountains. Enjoy lounging by the pool with a good book while soaking up some bushveld bliss.
Mountain Biking
Bring along your mountain bike and explore the bushveld on your own or with company.

Sundowner drives
Join us on a sundowner game drive through Grootfontein Private Reserve. The route passes through landmarks on the farm and a sundowner stop on Mount Mooi overlooking the great flats towards Botswana and the Waterberg biosphere.

Daily Housekeeping
All units can be serviced daily, please let us know if you'd like housekeeping each day so that we can make sure you're well looked after.
Pet friendly
There is no additional charge for pets, they are more than welcome. Please let us know if you'd like to bring dogs to Matopos Cabin or Aloe Lodge.
